I began my career working with children after completing a BTEC in Performing Arts at Cambridge Regional College. At 19 I flew out to the USA to teach drama to children on a summer camp, during this time I directed two musical productions (including The Wizard of Oz). It was on my return flight home that I decided working with children was definately the career for me.
After completing my studies, HND and BA (Hons) in Performing Arts at University, I began working with Theatre Train UK, teaching children aged 6-18 years Drama and preparing them to perform on a London stage.
I became a professional Children's Entertainer in 2001 and over a decade later I still love it as much as the day I started.
Krazy Kelly became my professional name as many people, including parents often said I must be crazy to do my job and I always replied 'yes crazy, but I love it and wouldn't change it!'
I have a daughter born in 2008 and she amazes me everyday and helps me with my research. I also work part time as a Music/Singing teacher for the under 5's for Tiny Mites Music, so I am very capable and experienced with this age group.
Every party I entertain at and every child I meet is an inspiration to me, my favourite response whilst performing magic tricks is when I say 'what's the magic word children?' and they say...'please' :)
